Speedy lab draw

Jess did great today! We had an 8:00 a.m. lab appointment (blood draw) at Mayo, which she was not very excited about. Who would be? It was the fastest "Jessie blood draw" that I've ever witnessed! Usually it takes them a few pokes, but they found a good vein right away! Another answer to prayer :)! When the lab tech was done, she said, "so, I guess we get to see you back her again tommorrow", Jessie quickly replied, "yeah, lucky you". She had all 6 women in the room laughing. She has such a great sense of humor! She was a very happy girl when that was done and we got to go have a yummy breakfast. Martha (the employee from the cafeteria who hugged and comforted Jess on her first day there) dished us up some good b-fast eats. When she saw Jess she said, "there's that beautiful smile, you just keep lighing up the world with that smile". It's the feeling you get when your grandma says something sweet to you, that's how sweet words from Martha sound. She's awesome. We were back home by 11:00 a.m., a very easy drive. Tomorrow we have a 7:30 a.m. lab at Mayo, then at 11:30 a.m., we meet with Jessie's Endocrinologist to find out what the next step will be. Please pray that God would give the doctors the wisdom that they need to make the best decision for Jessie's situation. We are all so touched by your sweet messages and prayers. They feel like a giant hugs to all of us, especially Jessie, and you know how much she loves those hugs.... Thanks for praying!

Blessings!

Liz
